Explore our fishing adventures

Glacier Guides provides professionally guided fly fishing trips around Glacier National Park, Montana. Northwest Montana abounds with fishing opportunities. The Middle Fork and the North Fork of the Flathead River offer native cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout. We use driftboats, dories, and rafts for our fishing trips.
The Smith River Adventure offers exceptional brown trout fishing.
If you would like to add some fishing time to one of our Custom Overnight Trips or one of our Cabin Adventures just let us know.

You're welcome to bring your own equipment, or reserve some of ours. Because of the need to protect our area fisheries, we are strong believers in catch-and-release fishing. We hope you'll assist us in our efforts.

Do we need a Montana State Fishing License?

Yes: If you are joining us on one of our guided fishing trips down the river.
No: if you are backpacking with us inside Glacier National Park you do not need a Montana License, but you will need a copy of the NPS Fishing Regulations. Our hiking guides are not allowed to guide fishing in the park. If you want to fish, you can do so during down-time during our trips.

It is best to have a license in hand prior to meeting your guide at our office. We recommend printing one online or most fly shops and sporting goods stores in Montana sell them as well.
