Reservation and Cancellation Policy
RESERVATIONS
Chalet Trips and Multi Day Trips
Multi day trips require a 25% deposit by credit card at time of booking. The total trip price is due and payable 45 days prior to your departure. If you are booking a trip within 45 days of departure, the total trip price is due at time of booking.
Day Trips
All day trips, be it hiking, rafting or fly fishing, require a 25% deposit by credit card at time of booking. The remaining balance is due and payable 7 days prior to your departure. If you are booking a trip within 7 days of departure, full payment is due at time of booking.
Glacier Guides Lodge
Reservations at our lodge require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be taken 7 days ahead of the reservation date. If you are booking your room reservation within 7 days of the reservation date, the total reservation price is due at time of booking.
CANCELLATIONS
Chalet TripsFor our guided trips to Granite Park and Sperry Chalets any cancellations made prior to 45 days of your trip date are fully refunded minus a $15 per person cancellation fee. Any cancellations made between 45 to 30 days prior will be charged a 25% cancellation fee. No refund is given if the cancellation occurs after 4 PM 30 days prior to your trip date.
Multi Day Trips For multi day trips any cancellations made prior to 45 days of your trip date are fully refunded minus a $15 per person cancellation fee. Any cancellations made between 45 to 21 days prior will be charged a 25% cancellation fee. No refund is given if the cancellation occurs after 4 PM 21 days prior to your trip date.
Day TripsFor day hikes, full day and 1/2 day rafting, and fly fishing trips any cancellations received more than 48 hours in advance are fully refunded. Any cancellations received less than 48 hours in advance are not refunded, you will be paying for the whole amount.
Glacier Guides LodgeFor our Lodge in West Glacier any cancellations made prior to 7 days of the reservation date are fully refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee. No refund is given for cancellations received after 4 PM 7 days prior to the reservation date.
We must adhere to our policies even in cases of last minute trip cancellations on your part due to personal injury or an emergency. We recommend you purchase a travel insurance plan that will cover such instances. We suggest Travel Guard, AAA, your personal insurance carrier or credit card company.
Transfers: In most cases you may transfer from one trip to another prior to 45 days before trip departure without penalty, after which time our cancellation policy applies.
